Dairyfree Strawberry Jello Parfait is a fancy-looking dessert, but very simple to make. It is jello with a layer of whipped cream on top but not regular whipped cream, a dairy free one.
Set the glasses on an angle to chill, you end up with cool diagonal layers that look much more interesting than a simple layered dessert. Then add a dollop of plain Cool Whip and top it with fresh strawberries.
Reasons to like this Dairyfree Strawberry Jello Parfait
- Served in glasses so less mess.
- Individual servings.
- Made up of different layers of deliciousness.
How to make the Parfait Dairy Free
I used dairy free cool whip. You can use a store-bought whipped cream or make your own.
Diagonal Layers of the Dairyfree Strawberry Jello Parfait
To make the layers diagonal, you will roll the foil into a small ball and place it in a muffin baking tray. Place the glasses on top of it.
Filling the Cups
I will advise using a piping bag, especially with the mouse layer as otherwise it will drip all over the place and make a mess. Also, fill the cups with Jello as soon as you are done preparing it otherwise, it starts setting, and then you will not have an even layer of jello.
Flavours
I have used strawberry flavor but you can use raspberry, mixed berry, or watermelon flavored jello, or even chocolate or caramel.
What type of cups to use
I have used small disposable cups but you can make it with regular clear cups, however, do bear in mind you might need to adjust the quantities.
Storing the DairyFree Strawberry Jello Parfait
Keep the Parfait refrigerated until ready to eat. It is good to keep in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
