You have heard of Prawn Toast but have you heard of Gluten-Free Chicken Sesame Toast, which is gluten and prawn free, no? Here is a recipe to try. Totally delicious and easy to make.
For this recipe, I use ground chicken and season it with spices. Then take a gluten-free bread loaf and cut it into small triangles. Then spread the seasoned uncooked ground chicken meat, sprinkle with sesame seeds and fry on a medium-high flame until the toast is golden brown and the chicken is done.
How to make the Egg and Gluten-Free Chicken Sesame Toast
Use your favorite gluten free bread.
Use corn flour in the filling.
Leave out the egg.
This recipe does contain corn, sesame, and soy sauce as ingredients. My kids are not allergic to these ingredients so I am able to use these allergens, if you cannot read below on how to do the allergen substitutions
To make the toast completely allergen free:
Soy Substitute: You can just leave out the soy sauce.
Sesame Substitute: Either leave the sesame seeds out too or replace them with your favorite seed such as flax.
Corn Flour Substitute: Use gluten free all purpose flour or rice flour, in equal amounts.
Serving Suggestions
Serve the Gluten-Free Chicken Sesame Toast with tomato sauce, chili sauce, or any other of your favourite dip.
Serve these toasts as a snack or an appetizer.
Storing the Gluten-Free Chicken Sesame Toast
This recipe is best served fresh but can be made ahead of time. The chicken can be marinated and stored in the fridge and spread on the toast when you are ready to eat.
The extra toast can also be stored in a container in the fridge or even frozen and heat it up in the microwave or oven as needed.

RECIPE CONTAINS:
Ingredients
1 cup ground chicken
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
3 stalks spring onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon soy sauce
salt, to taste
1 teaspoon crushed garlic

1 tablespoon corn flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
oil for deep frying
bread slice as required
sesame seeds as required
Steps
- Mix all the ingredients except sesame seeds, bread and oil.
- Cut the bread into quarters diagonally so that it makes four triangles.
- Spread the chicken mixture on the toast then sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Heat the oil on medium high heat. Then add the bread slices – mixture side down. Cook until the bottom turns golden brown and the chicken is done. Then turn and fry the other side. Take out once done, and serve hot.
